Evelyn Gaye Mara, M.A.I.S., owner and PD Quarterly publisher and managing editor, has over 30 years’ experience designing and implementing professional development programs for attorneys and other professionals. Her consulting clients and subscribers have included NLJ 250 law firms, Fortune 50 legal divisions, U.S. and D.C. Government agencies, and not-for-profit organizations. An award-winning author and instructional designer, she co-authored an associate core competency model and training plan, A Business Skills Curriculum for Law Firm Associates (ALA Foundation, 2001), based on a two-year study in which 45 law firms participated.
Honora Mara, M.Ed., is Associate Editor of PD Quarterly. She also serves as Grant Manager for the Global Fairness Initiative, a non-profit organization in Washington, DC that promotes economic development for working poor communities around the world.
